The College functioning is governed by Shri. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Shikshan Sanstha, Shirur (SCSSS) Governing Council and Local Management Committee. Shri Chhatrapati Sambhaji Shikshan Sanstha, Shirur was established in 1989 under the noble guidance of the dynamic, committed, visionary leadership of hon. Bapusahebji Thite, President and Ex-State Home Minister of Maharashtra State with the objective to provide quality education in the field of Pharmacy, Management, industrial Training Institute and school education from the Kinder age onwards. The institutions managed by this society have maintained high academic standards and have successfully provided trained manpower to the industrial and service sector.

The College enjoys the approval of various governing bodies like the India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi. The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) New Delhi, recognized by the Govt of Maharashtra and affiliated to the University of Pune & MSBTE, Mumbai for both B. Pharm & D. Pharm.
